If Gender Roles Didn't Matter in Agriculture

While I was raised to be a strong and independent woman, and I am not afraid of a challenge I do also realize that sometimes men are just genetically built different than women, thus enabling them to be better at certain things. However, while it might be easier for men to do some things, that doesn't mean that it isn't possible for women to do it. It just might take longer.  So what if women started to dominate the world of farming?  There are already a lot of women who run farming operations themselves and are doing great things for agriculture, so what would happen if there were more?  First it would help equalize the patriarchy of men ruling society, men would have to take a step back and reevaluate their roles in the business. This could cause some conflict, since men have been the primary farmers for years and a lot of them like to drive tractors and play in the dirt, they wouldn't want to lose that role.
